Lynford also boasts an arboretum, with 200 different species of trees. Today, in southern England, we rarely have the luxury of trying to tell the two species apart, as Willow T**s have declined so severely that they are now virtually extinct in East Anglia. The exception was a single (Eurasian) Nuthatch.

I do have to admit; I did get this nice image of the Blackbird , which despite being quite common, I have not captured with my camera yet. Our next stop, Havelock was one I had been looking forward to, as it has a huge estuary, with a large number of species that could be found here. Here is the shot of the Australasian Gannets.

But it happened at that moment that a lot of what I was looking at was avian in nature: a few crows, some sparrows, blackbirds, and other run of the mill inner-ring suburb fliers and flitterers. Those mammals consist of the previously mentioned fossorial members of Insectivora, Rodents, and bats.
