So though I visited Lynford, I didn’t see a Hawfinch on this occasion as I wasn’t there at the right time, though I did meet a number of hopeful Hawfinch hunters (HHHs), none of whom reported a sighting. Marsh T**s are far less numerous than Blue T**s, and despite their name aren’t particularly keen on marshes.

She ate everything from Rock Pigeons to caterpillars, earthworms to Brewer’s Blackbirds, but her staple diet consisted of plump, toothy, charismatic, and abundant Pocket Gophers. Patch was focused and deliberate, consistent and inventive.

I have had similar experiences at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge and you are so right on when you say “am I ever glad that I am a birder!&# Wicked, right? What a spectacle indeed. Barn Swallows are a bit unhappy with their image as restless aerial hunters and would like to gain a more stately and dignified profile. A hard-working Chinese Blackbird almost certainly already incubating its second brood is certainly not a target customer for a La-Z-Boy. Accessorizing for birds. These birds have too much taste.

Even the car park was busy with Common Blackbirds, European Goldfinch, Goldcrests and European Robins. . The causeway really does go right under water when the tide races in and you really do not have any choice other than to wait for it to go back out. Thousands of Geese on the move on dusk. Eurasian Curlew.
