Dear Outdoor Cat Owners/Feral Cat Supporters, Does the photo above sicken you? I have been a wild bird rehabilitator for 25 years. I have received countless numbers of wild birds mangled and/or killed by outdoor/feral cats, such as the Orange-crowned Warbler pictured here. It sickens me. Is it the fault of the cats?

Domestic or Ganky Geese

Feral geese run the gamut from pure white to almost entirely gray or brown. I’m still getting the hang of this particular breed of avian madness, and so defer to more enlightened readers to tell me if this bird is ganky or not: Are ganky geese even interesting to birders? We certainly see enough of them, don’t we?
