My camera and binoculars, protected by the light coat I had packed, were wet but fully functional. Even so, I believe that the faint black line at the tip of this gull’s less bulky bill, and its apparently greenish legs, allow me to add the California Gull to my yearlist. By the time I gave up around 1 p.m., I was wrong.

They look crap but presumably offer some protection for the chicks, though not from each other (see the murderous activities within the nests in my previous post ). On one occasion, he tried catching a cobra by the tail and got bitten on the tip of finger which he slashed with a pocket knife. Jerdon has also been noted as being rash.

They have great arch support and toe protection and are great for hiking. The hand warmers in my pocket not only were relief for my fingers but kept my batteries in my camera a little warmer too, extending their life. I’m going to let you in on a pro tip. Hats are a must. I found easily them, but I knew where to look.

Layer hens spend their entire lives permanently confined in battery cages with 6-9 other hens and have only half a square foot of living space per bird. This precept is variably stated as follows: Avoid killing or harming any living being. That's right, free!
