Me (F) and my boyfriend have two beautiful and sweet prairie dogs, a boy and a girl who are about one year old. On the other hand he plays with them way more than I do I guess he’s just more of an animal person, don’t get me wrong I love them too but I can feel he feels really strongly about them. So I’ve been having what I thought was a battle with a prairie dog with a hole under my front walkway. I’d put rocks to block the hole. The next day they would be gone. For weeks this has been happening. Well I got home after work. Turns out it’s a salamander. I thought they stayed closer to water.

We also saw Prairie Dogs , Bison , Mule Deer , Abert’s Squirrel and Coyote. All bird and animal pictures are Brad’s. Although careful preparation, sophisticated intel from real ornithologists and a lot of planning had been derailed by half a meter of snow, we ended up scoring 63 species over the weekend.
