Kitten Rescue is a wonderful animal rescue organization! Founded in 1997, it has become one of the largest animal rescue groups in Los Angeles. Kitten Rescue volunteers place approximately 1,000 cats and kittens into new homes every year. They are non-profit, and they are totally volunteer run!

I happened to work at that facility, for International Bird Rescue at the Los Angeles Oiled Bird Care and Education Center , part of the Oiled Wildlife Care Network. It had taken the company this long to get a team out to rescue any impacted wild animals. Oil was everywhere.
