Animal rights activists stretched a 60-foot banner across the Hawthorne Bridge {Saturday} morning targeting the Oregon National Primate Research Center at OHSU. In support of National Primate Liberation Week, the Portland Animal Defense League hung a banner that read "OHSU: Stop Killing Monkeys Now!"

they are venomous enough on their own to kills most predators. As a primate, the Loris was smart enough to figure out, that it can imitate Indian cobra to avoid predators. It simply does not fit the bill.

The University of California, Davis is the focus of a major federal complaint charging it and two other nationally known university research centers have killed dozens of primates through traumatic injuries, veterinary negligence and other violations. The others are the University of Michigan and University of Louisiana/New Iberia.

Similar to Corvids and primates in more than one way, toucans are smart, very social frugivores that also feed on any small animals they can manage to catch.

How smart does a chimpanzee have to be before killing him constitutes murder? I recently was escorted through a large primate research laboratory by its director. If they are "only" animals, if they are beasts which abstract not, then my comparison is a piece of sentimental foolishness. These chimps are healthy and well-fed.
