"The Lazy Naturalist" is a game about identifying animals whose common names reference other animals. I call it "The Lazy Naturalist" because it's as if whoever named the animal couldn't be bothered to come up with a descriptive or original name, so instead, they just referenced some other animal.

Not too many raptors, but at least an African Fish Eagle. Alone time. Taking a bath …. The photo shows less than 0.000001% of the global population. Jameson`s Firefinch ….

Week 16: South Africa and Kruger National Park

So far we have seen Impala, Duiker, Greater Kudu, Mongoose, Zebra and warthogs around the neighborhood, and yard. Just stepping away from the birds for a minute, because you can’t really do any kind of story about Kruger National Park, and not at least mention the animals. The African Fish Eagle was a great first day bird.
