I am a wildlife artist based in the UK, I have never had a real job! Other than paint, the only other thing I do is organize and joint-lead wildlife tours, mostly in Africa and India. In 2019 I joint-led my seventeenth safari in twelve years with Capture Africa, we are a good team. My name is Ashley Boon.

And here in Europe, they are the real deal, an indigenous species and not domesticated animals gone wild. Annex II of the Bern Convention lists 45 of Beljarica’s bird species, with a further 91 species in Annex III. Finally, 24 species in Annex I of the EU Bird Directive were recorded in this area.

Many of these islands are part of the Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge and one of the most important areas is Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. Invasive species , particularly rodents, have long been a problem on the Hawaiian archipelago. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) wants to eradicate all of the mice on Midway.
