We soon positioned ourselves in the shelter to watch the birdlife and there was no denying it was a hot and dry day and the shade was appreciated.

We were surprised to observe Zebra Finch , because there did not appear to be any water, but they could have been accessing water on the station and coming to the crater for food. I am uncertain of the exact species of dragon that we commonly found on the rim. But, that’s what it is all about… right??!! Mulla mulla.
