Dharamsala Animal Rescue helps the thousands of homeless street dogs that roam the streets of Dharamsala. These stray dogs are also without vaccinations, making them easy targets for contracting rabies. Dharamsala Animal Rescue is the only animal shelter in the province, giving lifesaving vaccinations to animals for as little as $1.

The grand opening for the new shelter will be on Sunday, July 8 from 2-6 pm at 2914 N Elston. Harmony House for Cats new Net Zero Energy shelter. It is free and open to the public.

Some time ago a neighborhood stray cat came to the yard to have her kittens. We tried to find a rescue group to take the little family so they could hopefully find a loving home. Sadly, shelters and rescues are full of cats and are already full.
