Within Nariva Swamp is Bush Bush Wildlife Sanctuary, a sandy, low-lying peninsula populated by palms, strangler figs, and other hardy forest trees. We managed to see both species of monkey, though – so we were ultimately well satiated. When Nariva Swamp delivers though, you better be ready! Red-legged Honeycreeper , I promise!

Hes previously poked albatrosses with sticks in Hawaii, provided target practice for gulls in California, chased monkeys up and down hills Uganda, wrestled sharks in the Bahamas and played God with grasshopper genetics in Namibia.
