They are considered an environmental pest because they are a non-native species that inflict ecological damage.but to deal with them this way is just unacceptable. The European Parliament approves of the ban on testing on large primates (chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans), which are threatened with extinction, except in experiments aimed at conservation of these endangered species.
