Although I love dogs they're too dependent on humans, it's true that stray/feral dogs can form packs and survive in the wild a regular dog like a golden retriever would get eaten by a lion instantly. The ones who would last until the very end would be lions , tigers bears, eagles and wolves. Cats would be the next.

In the mornings, and I use that term loosely, we would set out to monitor the Lions. Lions were re-introduced to the park a few years ago and have done so well the park now serves as a source of Lions for translocations. The first Lions to be re-introduced to Rwanda a few days ago were sourced from Tembe.

Fortunately, this task successfully was performed by shepherd Gerry: she took care of little lions for two months, making no distinction between them and her puppies. Puma rejected her children and they were given to Mary.
