The next argument is usually something along the lines of: But animals in the wild might starve to death, and get injured, maimed or killed by predators! And before any hunter can blurt out "Have you ever seen a deer die of starvation in the woods? We can choose not to kill and eat someone we do not need to eat in order to survive.

I get that you’re really angry, I mean, he was a popular lion and yes, his cute widdle cubs will probably die to, but I can’t help feeling you’ve kind of missed the point a bit, and well, ending all hunting in Africa will not solve much and maybe make things worse and… No, no, I’m not a hunter.

26), Seamus McGraw says he has a responsibility to kill deer because there are too many. He has volunteered to kill a deer cruelly, ineptly and with an outdated weapon that causes additional suffering to the deer. I’m tired of hearing people who enjoy killing justify it with specious moral platitudes. Hunters like him.

This represents 6% of the estimated mid-continental spring population of 322,700 birds for the same two decades.
