With this in mind, gently feel your pet’s limbs and joints and always take them to a Vet should you have the smallest inkling that something is wrong. Healthier routines, just like humans a few extra pounds can creep so make sure a sensible diet and plenty of exercise. Avoid over feeding your pet even if it is winter, make sure you do your research before you start making up a food regime, most animals don’t need to be feed three times a day like us!

There are benefits to both types of puppy food, though many vets recommend starting puppies on solid food with a wet variety. The feeding guidelines printed on the puppy food label are well researched and should be followed unless a veterinarian says otherwise. Wet or dry?

I alerted my regular (non-specialist) vet of this and though he didn't treat me like a crazy person, he didn't do any research, either. Last night, my vet called to update me. Other times, nine was too much and Violet would come close to crashing. He just figures I know what I'm doing. Supply is limited.

Turns out the founder of TRC and many the vets who worked in clinic were falconers as well. Falconers must always keep their birds somewhat wild so if they get separated or the bird flies off never to return, it can still survive on it’s own without human intervention. I learned that I knew nothing of falconry. Not always.
