I’ve never quite understood why so many people wrap their scopes up in little jackets, (but nor do I understand why it’s so popular to dress dogs up in coats, too, as they are already wrapped in fur. I tried many times with varying degrees of success – the Dalmatian Pelicans ( below ) were one of my better efforts.

In the mid 1700s, fur-traders began introducing foxes up and down the Aleutian chain, in order to generate some more raw material work with. Brown Pelicans are not an unusual sight on the California coast. However, these islands that were predator-free sanctuaries eventually turned into ecological sinks. Half Moon Bay, CA.

A group of Brolga flew in to find water and surprisingly several Australian Pelicans , which may have been heading to the large water expanse that is Lake Argyle. Euros are shaggy, heavy built marsupials with hair rather than fur and male Euro can weigh up to 55 kilograms. We observed both Agile Wallabies and Euros at the Behn River.
