Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros. This is a juvenile Grey-headed Fish Eagle , unless it is another fish eagle like the Lesser (the lack of any grey head makes me doubt the identification a bit, but it seems juveniles cannot afford a grey head yet).

I know dolphins are rapists, zoophiles using other fish for flashlights , and necrophiliacs. Tiger and Squirel males will kill a mother's children so she will become broody and be back for mating season. I'm just wondering what other species of animals are awful?

But indeed they vanish somewhere once the people pretending to try and catch fish appear. In our compound, a better name for the Black-crowned Night Herons would be Black-crowned Early Morning Herons. Even though they probably do not need to be afraid of the competition. But the stars of the month were some breeding Eurasian Tree Sparrows.

This Amazon Kingfisher is big, but it still had a real mouth full with this fish. After bashing it on a branch to kill it, it did finally get it swallowed. An even bigger kingfisher, one who would have had a lot less trouble with a fish that size, is the Ringed Kingfisher pictured below.
