The Lesser White-fronted Goose is one of the most threatened waterfowl species of the Western Palearctic, with illegal killing being the most important threat globally. Yet, we didn’t get far when a smallish falcon flew over the dyke and landed on a log in the mud. Stopping here and there to scope the mudbar…. Sure, why not.
