Although I love dogs they're too dependent on humans, it's true that stray/feral dogs can form packs and survive in the wild a regular dog like a golden retriever would get eaten by a lion instantly. Horses live in groups. In my opinion dogs would be the first to go. Cats would be the next. Horses have a good chance.

University officials say they only collect animals from shelters willing to participate and pound animals are steered toward nonlethal experiments.
