The Florida FWC illegally killed 34 pythons and one 10-year-old pregnant Boa constrictor

This put Coffee in an impossible position - he needed to rehome the pythons because they were illegal in Florida, but the FWC was threatening to face him with additional criminal charges if he did so. The 10-year-old Boa was pregnant and had been raised by McAdam since it was a baby. Chris Coffee did not commit any criminal acts.

For example , fallen figs do not seem to mind catching a ride with Oriental Pied Hornbills. There are some reports of the species having bred in captivity, for example, in a British Wild Life Park. Other threats arise from illegal logging, hunting for bushmeat, and other body parts (feathers, beak, etc.)

Let’s take the issues raised in the sign above one by one and figure out how serious each issue is. The former is worse than the latter, though in some jurisdictions both would actually be considered illegal. It seems like the people that run an awful lot of parks don’t want you feeding the birds.
