So, I belong to this book group of 5 to 7 women. I've been with the group for a while and it's not bad. There is one member of this group who works for a pharmaceutical company. She supports medical research on animals. One scene has the author entering the part of the hospital where the research animals are.

The Coast Guard is defending its practice of using live animals in its combat medical training after an activist group released a video on Wednesday of a goat’s legs being removed with tree trimmers during what it said was training for agency personnel. PETA leads the charge against the Coast Guard.
