I can’t read a story about a pet or watch a video without going down the emotional sinkhole. Now when I see a puppy/dog in the streets I try my best to feed them and pet them and I hold my breath when I hear a puppy crying somewhere outside thinking someone might be hurting him. And every time I end up crying.

I dont know if I have weird way to cope, but I already looked at puppies that are available. Would it be wrong to take a puppy on this moment? My loved ones probably would think that I am crazy for taking a puppy so soon or at all after this, but I feel like it would help me cope a lot better.

We returned home for a good dinner with friends, some wine and a night dreaming of raspberry coulis, puppies and ducks. Coming down from the emotional high we noticed our grumbling stomachs: time to eat. Not worth a detour, but when in the vicinity, do check it out. Our goal was the usually very busy Staunton State Park.
