I was quite shocked to learn that my last Northern Gannets were seen in Norway waaaaay back in 1992, some 15 years ago! However, after returning from the States to Germany in 2007 and with the birth of my son, I took stock of my European bird species – those I had on my life list – reflecting on when I had last seen them.
