By the end of my time as researcher, I was performing behavioral experiments on humans.

I didn't do the right thing for Animal Person. Obviously (I think), education is the key. People are lazy and want to be entertained.

I assume this personal tie is what brings many people to a wildlife hospital for the first time: empathy and sorrow for the single animal in their care.
