Over the weekend, I visited Sapelo Island on the coast of Georgia, catching a glimpse of baby Barn Swallow chicks for the first time since my summer years on Kennebago. I was there to tour a long term ecological research site, and while I waited for my ride I noticed dozens of Barn Swallows swooping through the air.

Analysis : I have never seen a Kirtland’s Warbler, but this is consistent with the research I have done to fix that problem. Analysis : I haven’t actually done this and cannot confirm some of the details, but my research suggests that this would be the best plan. Why did the duck become a detective?
