ASPCA , Joplin Humane Society to Host Weekend Adopt-a-thon for Joplin Tornado Pets. WHERE : Emergency Animal Shelter located next to the Joplin Humane Society (140 E. Adoption fees are being waived for this event, and adoptable animals will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and provided an ID tag free of charge.

Clearly, there's no spay/neuter program in this place. But there are animal rights activists in Mexico that will hopefully take notice and try to establish some kind of long-term and humane solution. If you bring in the dog for euthanization, you get a tax exemption.hooray! Sarcasm there of course. From Latino Fox News.

However, any breed of dog that has been abused, neglected, or homeless may be aggressive to humans or other dogs. If you find that dog of any breed is aggressive to humans, it is best to notify the relevant authorities. One day while I was volunteering I met a little pit bull puppy who was recovering from a spaying. Someone had called in an animal cruelty report. There are also many "feral" and "food-aggressive" personality types in humans, but we don't put them down.) Very sweet and gentle animal (I have a soft spot for pits.and pugs!)
