This species seems to frequently join mixed-species flocks – in research in Thailand, the species was found in 20% of the mixed-species flocks. Presumably, Grey-throated Babblers are not very fond of monkeys, especially the (potentially misnamed) Grey Leaf Monkey. On the plus side, it looks rather funny when wet.
