If these are taken off, the species looks just like Clark Kent.

Bird Butts and Other Matters

The local Bald Eagles are getting busy, I suspect there is an egg in the nest. While in Mexico, up on the roof of a casa (where I was cooking something up) I saw a murmeration! I’ve seen some interesting terns, and it is possible that I saw a small flock of migrating Bonaparte’s Gulls. Also written up here. The original paper is here.
