We are facing a plague of poaching that is again decimating the species. In Africa, one elephant is being killed every 15 minutes. But the “illegal international trade” is already there, killing – among other places – in Kruger (S. Another ellie is being killed as you read this line. One may say so. Perhaps 15 minutes?

All the inhabited continents except Africa have experienced bird extinctions; however the 2012 update of the IUCN Red List shows a startling, but not altogether unexpected, trend in that more and more of our bird species are facing extinction. The Northern Bald Ibis is listed as Critically Endangered.

And if a feral cat colony is near an endangered species, the colony should be eliminated. We see several different types of species. Don’t just dismiss them as some crazy cat lady who slept through her biology classes in school. Then one of my nieces started updating about a feral family she was watching.
