This new campaign, sponsored by The Humane Society of the United States, Maddie’s Fund, and the Ad Council, hopes to reverse this trend and find homes for these homeless, lovable pets. The campaign has one unified goal, to increase pet adoption. It is such a sad statistic.

If so, campaign to ban the rodeo, for heaven's sake! Just be honest about your goal and campaign for it! When I look at the Humane Society of the United States ' statement on rodeos, I feel much better. Is calf-roping some kind of low-hanging fruit and just the beginning?

The Humane Society of the United States is the big bully on this strange playground. Often confused with American Humane Association, they raise tens of millions, not to ‘save the animals’ as most people assume but to further the causes of vegetarianism and ending animal agriculture."
