Seals can mimic humans, you've heard of Crows and Parrots mimicing human speech but Seals can to, one Harbor seal named Hoover was able to mimic his owners voice and could say stuff like "Get over here!" Deer, cattle, camel and goats are more closely related to dolphins and whales then they are with horses.

Emus roam the open areas, and surprisingly, various parrots, lorikeets or cockatoos can be found in most any major grove of trees. After driving thru as much desert as we have lately, I was still absolutely shocked, when Jeanne cried out, “CAMELS”!! But the diversity, that I have found to be Australia, remains.

It is of course the food of the Night Parrot , but none were observed on this occasion! Other species of plant that were flowering were the Mulla mulla , Camel bush , a native Hop bush and a variety of salt-bushes. Camel bush. The rim trail. Grevillea wickhamii flowers. Mulla mulla.

Red-winged Parrots are often camouflaged until they fly across the track and there were several pairs along the track. Along the track we noticed a variety of prints including birds, marsupials and more recently wild camels. Two distant Pied Honeyeaters. Velliia panduriformis.
