Seals can mimic humans, you've heard of Crows and Parrots mimicing human speech but Seals can to, one Harbor seal named Hoover was able to mimic his owners voice and could say stuff like "Get over here!" Deer, cattle, camel and goats are more closely related to dolphins and whales then they are with horses.

Emus roam the open areas, and surprisingly, various parrots, lorikeets or cockatoos can be found in most any major grove of trees. I really only had one full day to bird, as I had some family obligations to fulfill, so I chose to see how much I could find at the Sydney Royal Botanical Garden. My first, was also found in the gardens.

All of the green coloured round shrubs are commonly called Spinifex, but it is in fact a member of the Triodia family and it is important to be careful of getting any of the leaf tips caught in your skin, because it can easily lead to an infection. It is of course the food of the Night Parrot , but none were observed on this occasion!

Grey-crowned Babblers are usually in family groups of eight and are easily heard as you travel along the track. Red-winged Parrots are often camouflaged until they fly across the track and there were several pairs along the track. Along the track we noticed a variety of prints including birds, marsupials and more recently wild camels.
