Choosing to adopt a dog rather than get one at the pet store (or what some like to refer to as “puppy mill”) is a beautiful thing—essentially you are saving a poor pup from euthanasia and you’re providing a an animal with a good home. Emmie loves her pets. She was never happier playing with the pet. Her mother came and sat next to Emmie while she held Carnie in her lap and petted him. Comforting an eight-year-old while she pets her dying hamster, dripping tears…it is easier to catch a breeze in your hands and return it to its home. Carnie was sluggish.
