The birding in this area is much more difficult compared to Farellones due to the heavy brush and the steep terrain.

Protection for a fee: Band-tailed Gulls and Red-legged Cormorants

Klepstoparasitism seems to be more prevalent among birds associated with water; those unable to dive often take food from those able to catch their food underwater.
