In the most of Europe, Brown Bear is a mythical creature that lives only in mediaeval tapestries and folk tales. In the European Union there are only 10,000 mature bears (source: IUCN). inhabitants per km², mainly livestock farmers. Most long time birders, at some point in their birding career, spent time at a wastewater treatment plant. Bear in mind, these areas do not smell like a rose garden, especially on a 100 degree Mexican summer day. I don’t know of any other association with birds beyond the label, so I’m inclined just to move on to the tasting notes because there’s a lot to cover in this one. Even the brewery’s spent grains, once shoveled out of the mash tun, are hauled off to a local farm as livestock feed. Good birding and happy drinking! __.
