The Philadelphia Metro Wildlife Center in Norristown covers four Pennsylvania counties (including Philadelphia) and takes in over 3000 animals a year. Both were too small for a human hand and too deep to see what was inside, so he called PMWC and was asked to bring the entire section of trunk to the center. Sounds like a sitcom!

Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle. As the name suggests, they rescue rabbits, but they also rescue other small animals like ferrets, and other small rodents. They are undertaking a great project that sounds like it will be beneficial for both the sanctuary rabbits and the people who love them.

Why does this little Screech Owl look so horrified? Somehow they manage to get the bird or animal to a rehabilitator, even though finding one is often a feat in itself.
