The group, founded in 2007, also provides a free, full-time spay and neuter clinic for homeless stray and feral cats, plus low-cost, spay and neuter services for tame pet cats.

This time of year, I worry about animals who are bought or adopted as gifts. This assumes that everyone also agrees that the animal will be part of the family for life. We could have put Violet through training that would "break" her and make her into a better family dog. I have no idea how anyone has more than one human child.
