India is to amend its wildlife crime laws to protect the country's tigers, a government minister said. Environment and forest minister Jairam Ramesh said that speeding up justice as well as hefty fines are needed to strengthen the Wildlife Protection Act. But is it enough? From the Press Association.

The general public is out and about, birds and animals are raising their young, and human/wildlife interaction is at its peak. Change in Law. I wish for a federal law prohibiting domestic and feral cats from roaming free outdoors. Why is there no state or federal money available to care for federally protected species?

The hunters currently pushing copper bullets have seen the x-rays proving that lead bullets splinter when they enter an animal, and they know that the meat hunters feed their families is filled with lead fragments (x-ray, left, of white-tailed deer.) On November 13, “The Sportsmen’s Heritage Act” will come in front of the Senate.
