An animal rights group has called for a federal investigation into the death of an elephant at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Umoya, a 21-year-old African elephant, died Thursday, possibly due to injuries suffered during an attack by another elephant. PETA and In Defense of Animals oppose keeping elephants in zoos.

My Dad is less of a biologist and more interested in history, but is also laid back and happy enough watching us have fun, but we even managed to find some historical sites to investigate. Never did see an elephant though). We went with a local company, Borneo Eco Tours. Think of the Jungle Ride at Disney.
