It entailed an aerial fabric performance (think Cirque du Soleil or that hotel commercial with the lady swinging from the drapes) set to beautiful music by animal advocate Marilyn Milano and a slide show about puppy mills and volunteering with rescues. Proceeds from the show will be used to further Up For Pups animal advocacy efforts.

So when we adopted a human baby we knew we'd have to teach that human to avoid Violet. We weren't planning to adopt another. but a friend who volunteers for a rescue group told me of a greyhound event around the corner from my house. When we adopted them we made a commitment to care for them for the rest of their lives.

Shon Rahrig : While living in Ohio in 1999, Rahrig allegedly adopted several cats and a puppy from local shelters and tortured them sadistically. Rahrig was forbidden to own an animal for five years, but he was subsequently seen at an adoption event in California. His whereabouts are unknown.
