The Parakeet of City Streets, the Monk Parakeet

Stephen Pruett-Jones, an evolutionary biologist who has extensively studied the Monk Parakeets of Chicago, only says that the nests offer a successful alternative to the tree hollows or palm trees utilized by other parrot species.
