While shopping for pet food in 2008, Maryam Faresh and her partner Bruce Meade saw a sign hanging on the wall with a picture of a white puppy with spots and strange looking eyes. After all, the little puppy kept leaving “lakes and logs&# that my dad was unfortunate to find with his bare feet. On May 5, 2010, I adopted a two-year-old poodle/terrier mix from our local shelter, Animal Allies. She then lies down right beside me. I rarely go out late at night, as Angel will also go potty on a puppy pad in addition to going outside. We stayed like that with Angel right by him until the police and ambulance got there.
