The wolves suffer needlessly because hunters simply wound them more often then not firing from an airplane. Here is a video from Defenders of Wildlife that shows the method (it's under 3 minutes). Tags: Palin alaska wolves. Doing it from low flying aircraft, however, is just barbaric. This is what Palin has pushed for.

But I have to admit that seeing some of the wolves, foxes, asses, and sheep of Dulan county is nice, at least as long as they do not stand in front of some exciting birds. I somehow managed to make it on a video taken by someone in the crowd, which made it on several social media sites, including Facebook. You know, the Bison, Elk, Bears and Wolves. Jeanne and I spotted four wolves sitting on a ridge just about the road, in the Lamar Valley. He even to the time to lay down and look in the hole!
