There is a small wound on the lower beak, which is not significant, but will be cleaned and treated. The main concern remains fro stbite to both feet, with the right foot worse than the left. (i have uploaded this to multiple other animal based forums) my family and i rescue kittens and today i found a tuxedo kitten (about a month old i'd say) in the middle of the road. it has no extertal wounds beside the fact that its right eye seems to be either stuck together/possible wounded and healing.

Putting a baby bird back in its nest is not always the right thing to do. Even if you do not see an obvious wound, cat or dog saliva, which is full of nasty bacteria, can still get into a bird’s eyes/orifices and will eventually kill the bird; it will just die more slowly and painfully. Ok, so you’ve rescued a bird. Find a box.

They will be ‘fired’ with a red hot iron in the mistaken belief that it will cure a wound. Horrible story.
