Animal Rights Activists Attack Berkeley Vet

Critter News

Hey Gregory, time to become a real vet and help sick and wounded animals recover; not ensure the smooth functioning of the torture chambers by assisting vivisectors in callous and fraudulent experiments on fourty-thousand beautiful, innocent beings per year. This via the ALF Press Office : As he left his car parked in a garage on campus, he was whistling and had no idea he had been followed. Humar, pictured on the right, is just one animal to have suffered this traditional, yet ineffective treatment, to horrifying effect. Horrible story. Fortunately the donkey was rescued by the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA).

The program would be monitored and refined over a three-year period to optimize its effectiveness.

Lovely. It was right on the curb and I was concerned about it getting run over. This little guy appeared weak and the wound on its head is very apparent. Keith, Here is a photo of a little guy we found across the street. It was chewing on the remains of a little bird that had fallen out of its nest. My son and I put it in a box and took it to a ditch area behind our house. Usually possums this small are with their mothers.

On Trial: Animal Torture Videos vs. Free Speech

Animal Ethics

The statute defines a depiction of animal cruelty as “any visual or auditory depiction, including any photograph, motion-picture film, video recording, electronic image, or sound recording of conduct in which a living animal is intentionally maimed, mutilated, tortured, wounded, or killed, if such conduct is illegal.” Is the NYTimes right to support striking down the law banning depictions of animal cruelty on First Amendment/free speech grounds? Today, the U.S.
