I found a full intact apple today hidden in my winter cat shelter. My neighbours grow crab apples and it looks like a creature had hidden its snack in the shelter. I was thinking a raccoon but then read that they don't store food? I'm hoping there's some animal experts here!

I don't know if she was being sarcastic, but in my town I see dead armadillos, opossums, raccoons, all manner of turtles, and squirrels dead in the middle of the road frequently. At least they're dead and it wasn't my fault, but I still have a responsibility.
