Keep finding decapitated mice/rats under car

The rodent has been dismembered in some way, but it doesn't appear to have been eaten at all. Lots of squirrels, chipmunks, deer, rabbits. I have also inspected the vehicle numerous times and found no signs of a rodent infestation or anything living somewhere in the vehicle. The body was a few feet away in the yard.

A wildlife rehabilitator friend, newly licensed, recently called to ask if he could feed a recovering Turkey Vulture anything besides defrosted rodents. He ate through my remaining supply of rats and mice, as well as all my pinkies (hairless, day-old rodents, easily digestible and good for starvation cases). He ate my last quail.
