Feral Cats in American Cities

So I put together a “carnival” (of sorts) of Feral Cat Ordinances and Issues that samples current events across the US. …a City Council committee voted 5-0 to recommend a new law that in essence licenses the care and feeding of free-roaming cats as part of a larger effort to reduce their numbers. Mole hills!

I am a city girl and until I became a birder my contact with hunting was limited to occasionally seeing dead deer on the tops of cars in upstate New York. So–not a fan of hunting. And, neither are most of our 10,000 Birds writers.
