Flex is a handsome, neutered male, red fawn greyhound (currently under 60 pounds). He has been vetted and is healing nicely. Tags: Activism Current Affairs Greyhound Matters. Dogs they can not place in foster care or find adoptive homes for are euthanized after 14 days by county ordinance. Their shelter is full.

Regarding Adam's comment yesterday about low-cost spay/neuter, the reason this particular one is low-cost is that it is subsidized by the county and city (and maybe State, I'm not sure). Tags: Activism Current Affairs Ethics. She has brought over a dozen cats there in just two weeks, 11 of whom were pregnant. Can you imagine?

Most shelter animals are spayed or neutered, have been treated for worms, and have at least their first set of shots. For these reasons, my vet had no problem with me stockpiling Vetsulin. The vets say that Charles' condition doesn't warrant another surgery, and that sometimes it takes a couple of years (!) As for Project Treadstone, after several false starts, trapping, spaying and neutering will resume next week.

A feral kitten captured and neutered by a small non-profit, somewhat militant organization, was on display at our local Massachusetts Society Prevention of Cruelty Association branch, which often took these feral cats in the hope of finding homes for them. Tags: books guest post.
